FlowVid documentation

Every FlowVid setting, status and option, explained in plain words.

Overview

FlowVid is a Chrome extension that runs a batch of AI videos in Google Flow for you. You add prompts, press Start batch, and FlowVid creates a Flow project, turns on Agent mode, sets your instructions and options, sends each prompt, approves each video and downloads every clip.

You can also let your AI send jobs to FlowVid through a Google Sheet.

Note. Google Flow can change its pages. If FlowVid cannot find a button, it reports the step and saves a page map so we can fix it.

The queue and statuses

The queue shows every prompt in your batch and what FlowVid is doing with it, in plain language.

Waiting
The prompt is in line and has not been sent yet.
Sending
FlowVid is sending the prompt to Google Flow.
Generating
Google Flow is making the video.
Done
The video is approved and downloaded.
Failed
Something went wrong. The queue shows the reason.

Settings

Set these once. FlowVid applies them to every batch.

Video model
Which Flow model makes your videos. Default is Omni 1.1 Flash.
Aspect ratio
9:16 vertical or 16:9 horizontal, for video and image.
Outputs per prompt
How many versions Flow makes for each prompt. Default is x1.
Approve automatically
Sets Confirm before generating to Never in Agent settings, so each video is approved for you.

Agent instructions

FlowVid adds your instructions to the Flow project so they apply to every prompt in the batch.

Project instructions
The overall style, tone and rules for the whole batch.
Character consistency
A description of your character, with your avatar as the reference image.
Script instructions
How each scene should be written or paced.

Tip. Describe your character once in Character consistency instead of repeating it in every prompt.

@me avatar

Write @me in a prompt and FlowVid uses your avatar as the reference image, so your character stays the same across clips.

If FlowVid cannot find your avatar it pauses and asks you to add a reference image. Add one, then resume.

Downloads and file names

Every clip is saved in your Downloads folder as Downloads/FlowVid/<batch>/Shot 01 - <name>.mp4, in the order of your prompts.

FlowVid downloads in 1080p, or the best size your plan offers.

Note. 1080p needs a Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra plan. Flow credits are used as normal and FlowVid adds no cost in Flow.

Renaming and scenes

FlowVid renames clips in Flow as Shot 01, Shot 02 and so on, and can add them to one scene so your batch stays together.

Google Sheet mode

Let Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT write jobs into your own Google Sheet. FlowVid picks them up, runs them and writes the result back.
